Prestashop update

Update Prestashop

To update Prestashop to the new version, the following steps will be carried out:

1) Backup of everything (database and files of your entire website).

2) Download the Final stable version from the Web:

http://www.prestashop.com/download

3) Upload everything via ftp and make sure all files and folders are overwritten

4) Once this has been completed, we simply launch the installation:

http://my-domain.com/install

(in this case it will not be launched automatically since the /config/settings.inc.php file created still exists and the installer knows that a store already exists). We will check that it gives us the option to update.

5) Later delete the install/ folder and rename the admin/ folder (the previous admin folder from the other previous version can also be deleted).

(PS) If you have made changes to modules in your previous version, they must be replaced from the backup you made previously.
