A subdomain is an extension of your domain that will allow you to separate content within your website, generate microsites or landing pages, and its structure is "subdomainname.yourdomain.com".
How to create a subdomain in cPanel
1. Enter your cPanel control panel.
2.Go to Domains in the Domains section.
3. Press the Create a Domain button.
4. Type the subdomain name with the domain name included as you see in the example, and then press the Submit button.
The domain must match the domain of your hosting account. For example, if your domain is "domain.com", then what you need to enter is "subdomain.domain.com".
The subdomain will be created in a folder inside the home directory, right at the same level as public_html so you can start uploading its content and working with it.
5. Wait a few moments and cPanel will notify you that it created the subdomain correctly.
Edit or delete your subdomains
To edit or delete your subdomains, just highlight the subdomain you want to work on and click Manage.
From there you can delete the subdomain, or if you are a more advanced user, update the location of the content folder or redirect the subdomain elsewhere.
