The period of punishment or the Redemption Period is the period in which the domain is found once it has passed Renew Grace Period.
During this period the domain cannot be renewed in the usual way, this is because the domain is not renewable and must be recovered. The cost of this recovery is higher than the usual renovation price and must be added to this amount of domain renovation.
If the domain is renewed during this period
If you have requested the domain recovery, you will have to wait between 24 and 48 hours for the domain to be recovered. Once active you will have to wait a few more hours for the domain to spread across the network again.
If you do not renew the domain during this period
If you decide not to recover the domain, it will go to the following status: Pending delete.
