How to add additional domains in cPanel?

To add additional domains in cPanel, the first thing to do is log in through our cPanel account with your username and password.

Once inside our account we must go to the Domains section where the different sections appear to configure redirects, subdomains, additional domains or aliases of the main domain.

To create the different additional domains associated with the main account we must go to the Addon domains category. In this section we must fill out the information requested, such as: name of the domain, name of the FTP user associated with the domain, password of the FTP user and name of the folder that will contain the files to be displayed.

Taking this image as an example we see that we are going to add an additional domain with the name test.com, an FTP user associated with this domain called test will be created and the name of the folder that will contain the web files will be called test .com. The final path of the additional domain is the following /home/cpaneluser/public_html/test.com/.

Once we point the domain to the server where this cPanel account is located and upload the files via FTP, the content should be displayed correctly.
