Redirecting emails from one account to another is very easy. We have the option of redirecting all emails that enter a domain or redirecting a specific account so that they are copied.
Using the item located in the "Email" - “Redirections” tab of our CPanel we can make both types of addresses:
Redirect an email account only:
By clicking “Add redirection” we can add the redirection of a particular account:
In the first field, we add the email account that we want to be redirected. In the case of having parked or additional domains, we select the domain we want.
In the second field, we write the account where we want our email to arrive.
We can also select so that the email bounces and does not reach its destination, writing a bounce message.
We press the “Add redirection” button to finish.
Redirect all emails from one domain to another:
By clicking “Add a Domain Redirect” we see the following:
We simply select our domain and enter the domain to which the emails will go.
In this case, if we write to any account, it will be reaching the account that has the same domain name.
For example, we write to [email protected]. The email will arrive directly to [email protected] which we added.
Note on redirection:
The interesting thing about this is that it is not necessary to have the email account created for these cases. If we redirect a specific account using the first option, if the account exists, the email is copied. If it does not exist, the email is sent directly.
