Error: Data Socket Error: Connection timed out in FTP

We use the FlashFXP software as an example. But in all cases we can disable Passive Mode to connect via ftp.

To correct this error we will only configure our FTP to work WITHOUT passive mode, in our case we use FlashFXP as an FTP client and to configure it without passive mode we only go to Options --> Preferences.

 


Once there we move to the "Proxy / Firewall / Ident" tab and configure our FlashFXP to work WITHOUT passive mode for them we only have to make sure that the "Use Passive Mode" box is NOT selected

 

We accept and restart our FlashFXP.
