Using our mail system, you can freely send your commercial notices to your clients who have expressly authorized it. If you do not have authorization it will be considered SPAM. This is a qualitative and not a quantitative concept, so any advertising or commercial message, newsletter or propaganda, addressed to a person who has not requested it, will be considered as such. Under this concept, there may be 5 or more than 500 emails (the severity of the fault when making these shipments is not determined by the number of shipments made) since the fault originates at the time of sending advertising not expressly requested, whether this is sent using our email servers, our IP, or emails from other providers but that refer to a web page hosted on our servers.
SHARED hosting plans are authorized only for sending messages at normal office frequency and volume. If you want to send periodic newsletters, use lists or send messages to subscriber systems with more than 200 users, you must hire one of our Semi-Dedicated plans or, failing that, virtual private VPS servers.
You can easily send your newsletters to your clients or registered users when you need it, but to do so you must use a secure sending method, you can use phpList for example, which is free code and you can install it on your website about hosting plans that have a database.
To send requested advertising to your clients from an email client such as Outlook Express or MS Outlook, you must send the message to one email address at a time.
If you need to send personal messages to more than one contact and as long as they are NOT advertising messages, you can do so by sending the message in blocks of no more than 10 recipients at a time. Please note that if this limit is exceeded, our system will place your message at the end of the sending queue waiting for a time when the server is free of load.
It is recommended that instead of sending a large attachment to many recipients at the same time, it is published from your browser using FTP and only send in their email the link to the path where you published it, so that they can access the information through of the web. If it is private information and for greater security, it is recommended that you work with protected directories that will allow you to limit access to the files you publish there only to users authorized to see them.
Sending unsolicited email (SPAM) is not allowed and may be cause for account cancellation. The fine imposed for this type of activities the first time will be the payment of a minimum of US$300.00 (corresponding to 2 hours of Support from a Security Consultant) and will face a suspension of the service. Recurrence will be penalized with US$900.00 and the definitive closure of your website without the right to a refund of any kind.
You are not allowed to carry out the following activities using the email system included in your individual hosting plan:
Sending unsolicited email. It includes but is not limited to the mass sending of email with commercial propaganda, informational announcements, petitions, political or religious announcements, etc. These types of messages can only be sent to people who explicitly requested to receive this type of information through a reliable delivery system, strictly complying with the laws of each country. In the event of a complaint, atlanticadigital.net will request, as it deems appropriate, verification that said people agreed to receive this type of material.
Sending email with hidden or modified headers.
Mass sending of email with the intention of disabling an email account (Mailbombing).
Sending email with threats, inappropriate content or content alien to morality and good customs.
Using other external services for sending commercial mail to promote a domain hosted on our servers (spamvertising), atlanticadigital.net will treat it the same as if the SPAM originated from our servers and the policies described above will apply.
Depending on the seriousness of the SPAM, atlanticadigital.net will have the right to charge the corresponding fine for sending mass email from our servers. The domain name will also be blocked, the content of the website will be confiscated and the services will be cancelled.
At atlanticadigital.net we do not tolerate sending SPAM from our servers or sending Spam to promote domains hosted on our servers.
